Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center seeks a Respiratory Supervisor to lead daily clinical and program operations in collaboration with the Director. The position supervises ABG Lab activities per CAP/CLIA standards and performs respiratory care procedures under physician directives, contributing to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Care or Science and an active Florida RRT license (NBRC).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications required or current.
• Minimum 3 years of acute care respiratory care experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinical and program operations with the Director.
• Maximize clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction; optimize interdepartmental workflow.
• Assist with orientation, education, skills competency, performance improvement, and counseling of staff.
• Maintain ABG Lab in accordance with CAP and CLIA standards.
• Perform critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures and diagnostics per physician directives.
