Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a healthcare-related field; Master’s or Doctorate preferred.
• Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license and RRT credential.
• Minimum four years as a Registered Respiratory Therapist, with at least two years in clinical respiratory care.
• Two years teaching experience in a CoARC-accredited program or as a clinical instructor.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to promote commitment and results.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Lead program initiation, including securing clinical sites, acquiring accreditation, budgeting, and hiring faculty.
• Organize student advising procedures and faculty teaching loads.
• Develop collaborations with other colleges for inter-professional education.
• Coordinate with main campus on planning and assessment.
• Represent the program in the community.
