Job summary

South College is seeking a full-time Program Director for the Respiratory Therapy program at the Orlando campus. You will provide leadership, oversee curriculum development, accreditation processes, and budget management while coordinating faculty, clinical sites, and program assessment.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, plan courses, supervise teaching loads, and ensure high standards of education and student outcomes across the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a healthcare-related field is required.
• Masters or Doctorate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with faculty to promote commitment and results.
• Maintain high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
• Lead program initiation including clinical sites, accreditation, and budget.
• Organize student advising procedures.
• Organize faculty teaching loads and quarterly class schedules.
• Develop collaborations with other colleges for interprofessional education.
• Work with the main campus on planning and assessment.
• Represent the program in the community.
• Provide instruction for courses each quarter.
