Job summary

Leoforce is seeking a founding Respiratory Therapy Program Director to build a new program in Columbus, OH. You will oversee program structure, accreditation readiness, and clinical partnerships, ensuring high-quality curricula and student assessment.

The role requires substantial RT leadership, teaching experience in CoARC-accredited settings, and strong collaboration with clinical sites. Relocation support and a competitive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• Current or former Respiratory Therapy Program Director, RT Program Chair, DCE, RT Faculty, or Clinical Instructor
• RRT certification with Ohio license or eligibility
• 2+ years teaching in a CoARC-accredited program or as a clinical instructor/preceptor
• CoARC Key Personnel Training Program completed or able to complete
• Experience with CoARC accreditation, self-studies, RCS, and site visits
• Clinical expertise in critical care, ventilation, ABG, airway management, and pulmonary diagnostics
• Specialty credentials such as ACCS, NPS, RPFT, or AE-C are a plus
• Curriculum development aligned to NBRC TMC/CSE matrices with competency assessment & simulation
• Experience with clinical tracking systems and LMS; building clinical affiliations
• Experience with budgeting, faculty hiring, and advisory committees
• Open to relocating to Columbus, OH

Responsibilities

• Oversee structure and daily operation of the program
• Ensure effectiveness of clinical affiliates/education centers
• Act as liaison between clinical agencies and college
• Maintain evaluation of students by instructors, managers, staff, and students
• Ensure program viability and compliance with CoARC standards
