Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a healthcare-related field.
Master's or Doctorate preferred.
Active Ohio Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
Additional advanced-level professional credentials preferred.
Minimum four years as an RRT with at least two years teaching.
Minimum two years teaching in CoARC-accredited setting or as clinical instructor.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with faculty to promote commitment and results.
Maintain high standards of teaching, scholarship, and service.
Lead program initiation: secure clinical sites, accreditation, budget, and faculty hiring.
Organize student advising procedures.
Organize faculty teaching loads and class schedules.
Develop collaborations with other colleges and programs for inter-professional education.
Work with main campus on planning and assessment.
Represent the program in the community.
Provide instruction for courses each term.
