Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital Orlando Central is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager (RRT) to lead the respiratory therapy department, ensure high-quality care, and support regulatory compliance. The incumbent will guide staff development, oversee scheduling, and coordinate care with physicians to optimize weaning from ventilation.

We seek an experienced leader with NBRC RRT credentials, current BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and a focus on patient-centered outcomes within a critical illness recovery

Qualifications

• Current NBRC-credentialed RRT in good standing.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required by start date; ACLS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the respiratory therapy department, including staffing, performance evaluations and training.
• Partner with Chief Nursing Officer to ensure standards and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate Wean Team/Pulmonary Rounds and liaise with pulmonologists for weaning from ventilation.
