Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - Erie is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager to lead the respiratory therapy department, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality, compliant patient care. You will guide clinical practice, mentor staff, manage schedules, and collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to uphold standards.

Required: active NBRC RRT, state license, BLS; ACLS within 6 months. Preferred: Associate's degree, 5 years acute care, 2 years supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Active NBRC RRT credential required.
• Current state license required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily respiratory therapy department operations.
• Coordinate staffing, scheduling and performance evaluations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and standards of care.
• Lead Wean Team and pulmonary rounds coordination.
• Educate patients, families, and staff as needed.
