Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital – Orlando Central, part of the Select Medical family, is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager (RRT) for its 31-bed ICU-recovery setting. You will lead the respiratory therapy department, oversee daily operations, guidance, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with pulmonary physicians.

You will also mentor staff, manage scheduling, and contribute to clinical excellence through education and program development, with a focus on patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelors preferred.
• RRT credential required by NBRC.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the respiratory therapy department.
• Recruitment, staffing, orientation and performance evaluations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and quality of care.
• Coordinate Wean Team and pulmonary rounds with physicians.
• Maintain clinical schedules and cost controls.
• Educate patients, families and staff; ensure point-of-care testing readiness.
