Requirements include an Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy and 1+ year of critical care experience. Certifications like BLS and RRT preferred or required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• 1+ year of critical care experience preferred.
• NBRC credentials or eligibility for credentialing in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately.
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in assisting with patient flow.
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine treatment plans with the team.
• Responds to Code Blue emergencies providing CPR per AHA guidelines.
• Operates ventilators and provides airway management per protocol.
• Analyzes arterial blood gases and reports findings.
