Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital - West TN in Jackson, TN is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Manager to lead the respiratory therapy department, oversee operations and staff development, and collaborate with the Chief Nursing Officer to maintain clinical standards.

The role requires ensuring regulatory compliance, coordinating Wean Team and pulmonary rounds, maintaining staffing schedules, and advancing patient care through education and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current state license and NBRC RRT required.
• BLS required; ACLS within 6 months.
• Graduate with transcripts/diploma required.
• Five years of acute care experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Respiratory Therapy department operations.
• Recruit, interview, orient, and evaluate staff.
• Ensure regulatory and department standards compliance.
• Develop clinical staffing schedules for safe coverage.
• Coordinate Wean Team and pulmonary rounds with physicians.
• Maintain competency in Rapid Response and code events.
