Job summary

Advocate Health's Lexington Medical Center - Respiratory Therapy Services seeks a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Lexington, NC. The position offers full-time status with a 36-hour work week and 12-hour nights, located in Lexington Medical Center, Lexington, NC.

RRT with NC license and BLS are required; PALS/NRP and ACLS must be completed within 90 days of hire. We provide day-one health coverage options, generous PTO accrual starting at 25 days/year, and employer-paid

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved two or four-year program for respiratory care.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC and NC license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• PALS and NRP within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapies following age-appropriate standards of care.
• Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation and airway support.
• Report routine clinical procedures to relief personnel for continuity of care.
• Perform and maintain competency for point-of-care testing as assigned.
• Provide invasive and non-invasive monitoring to ensure patient safety.
