Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care.
• Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care.

Aufgaben

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery and equipment; conducts prescribed therapies.
• Administers and monitors therapeutic procedures and monitors patient response.
• Initiates, monitors and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Documents therapy and results for regulatory compliance.
• Communicates with the healthcare team and educates patients as needed.
• Performs blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Works independently across care areas and assists colleagues.
• Proficient with the EMR and related interfaces.
