Job summary

Advocate Health—Floyd Medical Center seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to deliver comprehensive respiratory care across infant to geriatric patients. Responsibilities include medication administration, arterial puncture, and ventilation management as required by professional level.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Care (Bachelor's preferred) with NBRC RRT registration and state licensure where applicable.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from a JRCRTE approved Respiratory Care Program required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• RRT I, II, or III level experience in acute care settings; 4+ years in a senior role for progression.
• Must be NBRC Registered (RRT) and licensed as RCP or LRT per location; BCLS/ACLS/PALS

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced respiratory care to patients of all ages.
• Administer medications, perform arterial puncture, breathing retraining and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor respiratory devices including pulse oximeters and impedance monitors.
• Lead mechanical ventilation management and airway care as per development level.
