Job summary

The role involves evaluating prescriptions, administering inhalation therapies, operating ventilators, and monitoring patient responses. You will also perform pulmonary function tests, chest physiotherapy, and educate patients and families on respiratory care.

Qualifications

• Licensed respiratory therapist with relevant clinical experience.
• Ability to operate ventilation and related life-support devices.
• Experience performing pulmonary function tests.
• Strong patient assessment and education skills.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prescriptions and determine therapy type, duration, and dosages.
• Administer aerosol medications and provide inhalation therapy.
• Set up and monitor respiratory equipment including ventilators and gas delivery systems.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy as needed under physician supervision.
• Perform chest physiotherapy and assist in breathing exercises; support diagnoses.
• Document therapy details and educate patients and families.
