ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Chicago - North is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer safe care, monitor ventilation, perform ABG sampling and educate patients and families. The role operates within a 164-bed long-term acute care setting, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Applicants must be licensed as an RCP in the state, hold ACLS/BCLS, and have at least 1 year of related experience; strong English communication and teamwork are

Formación

• Required respiratory therapy program completion or applicable degree.
• Current RCP license in state of practice Upon Hire (Required).
• ACLS/BCLS certifications Upon Hire (Required).

Responsabilidades

• Deliver respiratory care procedures per hospital policies.
• Document and code respiratory care procedures accurately.
• Verify physician orders for respiratory care.
• Support oxygen delivery and ventilator management.
• Assist in airway procedures and suction techniques.
• Provide patient and family education and handoff reports.
