Qualifications

• Postsecondary certificate/diploma from an accredited respiratory therapy program is required.
• Associate’s degree from an accredited respiratory therapy program is required.
• RCP license required upon hire; ACLS and BCLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care as ordered by physician.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and ABG results.
• Perform airway management including tracheostomy care and suction.
• Initiate and manage oxygen/ventilation devices; perform weaning per protocol.
• Provide patient and family education and handoff reports.
• Participate in department rounds and staff training.
