You must hold active licensure as an RT (RRT/CRRT), NBRC certification or CPFT preferred, and BLS/CPR. Weekend shifts are not required, with potential travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Experience performing spirometry testing.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
• NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred; AARC spirometry certificate accepted.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Availability for occasional weekday shifts (no weekends).

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry and comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
• Administer albuterol for post-bronchodilator testing.
• Provide clear instructions to patients and educate on respiratory equipment.
• Monitor patient comfort and equipment functionality.
• Communicate with the care team as needed.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean workspace.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
