Job summary

Roshal Health in Miami, FL is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to perform spirometry and pulmonary function testing. This role focuses on testing, patient instruction, and collaboration with the care team.

The position requires licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT, NBRC/CPFT preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Ability to work weekdays with no weekends, and maintain high safety and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Experience performing spirometry testing.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
• NBRC certification or CPFT preferred; AARC Office Spirometry Certificate accepted.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry and comprehensive PFTs incl. pre- and post-bronchodilator testing.
• Provide patient instructions for testing and educate on respiratory equipment.
• Monitor patient comfort and equipment functionality during testing.
• Communicate with Pulmonologist and care team as needed.
• Follow safety standards in operating equipment and maintain a clean area.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
