Job summary

Roshal Health is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist in Miami, FL to perform spirometry and comprehensive pulmonary function testing for patients at client facilities. The role emphasizes patient education, safety, and accurate test administration while allowing flexibility in scheduling.

Candidates should have current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT, NBRC CPFT preferred, and be comfortable with pre- and post-bronchodilator testing.

Qualifications

• Experience performing spirometry testing.
• Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
• NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred; AARC Office Spirometry Certificate accepted.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• BLS/CPR Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet health requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform spirometry and comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
• Administer albuterol for post-bronchodilator testing.
• Provide clear patient instructions for pulmonary tests.
• Monitor equipment functionality and patient comfort during testing.
• Communicate with the care team and maintain accurate records.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean work area.
