Roshal Health in Miami, FL is seeking a PRN Respiratory Therapist to perform spirometry and pulmonary function testing. You will work with our team to deliver accurate tests, instruct patients, and ensure safety while supporting hospital clients.

This role emphasizes independence, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to manage testing across shifts with occasional weekday coverage and travel opportunities.

Qualifications

• Requires current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or RRT.
• NBRC certification and/or CPFT preferred; AARC Office Spirometry Certificate also accepted.
• Valid Driver’s License; BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience performing spirometry testing.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
• Must pass health requirements including drug screen and background check.

Responsabilités

• Perform spirometry and comprehensive pulmonary function tests (PFTs).
• Administer albuterol for post-bronchodilator testing.
• Provide clear patient instructions for test preparation and equipment usage.
• Monitor patient comfort and equipment functionality during testing.
• Communicate effectively with the Pulmonologist and care team.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, compliant work area.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
