Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group seeks a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our Washington-based care team. This full-time RT role focuses on delivering therapies, assessing respiratory status, and coordinating with nursing and therapy staff to optimize resident outcomes in a post-acute setting.

You will perform treatments per physician orders, educate residents and families, ensure equipment is properly maintained, and participate in individualized care planning to support residents with respiratory

Qualifications

• WA license/cert as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) required.
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred).
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
