Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group in Seattle, WA is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to support residents with respiratory needs and work with nursing and therapy staff to ensure optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities include administering treatments per physician orders, monitoring respiratory status, documenting care, and educating residents and families. A Washington RCP license is required; CRT/RRT is preferred. We offer full-time positions with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Current Washington State license/certification as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred)
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
