Job summary

Kalesta Healthcare Group in Washington is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to support residents with respiratory needs within our care team. You will collaborate with nursing and therapy staff to deliver evidence-based treatments per physician orders.

Responsibilities include evaluating respiratory status, documenting interventions, educating residents and families, and maintaining equipment. A Washington state license as an RCP and CRT or RRT preferred are required or strongly

Qualifications

• Washington State license/certification as an RCP
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program (CRT or RRT preferred)
• Experience with tracheostomy care and ventilator management strongly preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and resident-focused

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments per physician orders, including nebulizer treatments, suctioning, oxygen administration, etc.
• Assess and monitor residents’ respiratory status, promptly reporting changes to the nursing and medical team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of treatments, interventions, and resident response
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create individualized care plans for residents with respiratory needs
• Educate residents, families, and staff on respiratory care techniques and equipment
• Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance, and functionality of respiratory therapy equipment
