Job summary

Regency Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem/PRN night shifts in Oregon, OH. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 6:00 pm–6:30 am, with $44 per hour and shift differentials for nights and weekends.

Candidate must be able to pick up shifts at our Sylvania and Oregon locations as needed. Regency Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital delivering inpatient post-ICU care to chronically ill patients; RTs perform assessments, provide respiratory care, manage tubes, and

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• Graduation proof: college transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• One year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Location: Oregon, OH

Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) Night (6:00 pm - 6:30 am; 12-Hour Shifts)

Compensation: $44 Per Hour; Shift Differentials for nights and weekends

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
