Job summary

Regency Hospital in Oregon, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for Per Diem/PRN night shifts (6:00 pm - 6:30 am, 12-hour shifts). The role includes evaluating patients, providing respiratory care, and assisting with airway management and critical care protocols.

You will join a team focused on compassionate, high-quality patient care. Per Diem employees receive an extensive orientation and opportunities to advance into full-time roles, with 401k eligibility and access to an employee

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• College transcript/diploma or high school transcript/diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure required.
• ACLS required upon hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Overview

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN

Location: Oregon, OH

Schedule: Per Diem (PRN) Night (6:00 pm - 6:30 am; 12-Hour Shifts)Compensation: $44 Per Hour; Shift Differentials for nights and weekends

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
