Job summary

Regency Hospital in Sylvania, OH seeks a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our critical care team on 12-hour days. Full-time, $33.34–$45.00/hr with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Requires NBRC CRT/RRT, BLS, state licensure; ACLS within 6 months.

You’ll evaluate patients, provide respiratory care, and participate in QA and patient education. We offer RT orientation, tuition reimbursement, continuing education, a clinical ladder, debt repayment support, generous PTO, and strong health and retirement

Qualifications

• Active NBRC CRT or RRT credential required.
• BLS certification by start date required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire (PRN staff ACLS on hire).

• Perform insertion/removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.

Schedule: Full-Time Days (6:00am - 6:30pm; 12-Hour Shifts)Compensation: $33.34 to $45.00 Per Hour; Based on years of experience and shift differentials on weekends

Sign-on bonus: $15,000

*This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Toledo and Oregon locations, as needed.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
