Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist/Respiratory Technician to deliver high-quality care in our fast-paced SNF setting. You will provide respiratory therapy, monitor status, and support care plans for residents.

Requirements include an active RT license (RRT/CRT) and experience in long-term care. We offer flexible scheduling, daily pay options, and a collaborative, patient-centered team dedicated to geriatric and post-acute care.

Qualifications

• Active RT license (RRT/CRT) or Respiratory Technician certification (state requirements apply).
• Experience in long-term care, rehabilitation, post-acute care, nursing home, or SNF preferred.
• Knowledge of pulmonary care, oxygen management, and respiratory equipment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and breathing treatments to residents.
• Monitor oxygen therapy, pulse oximetry, and respiratory status.
• Assist with trach care, nebulizer treatments, CPAP/BiPAP management, and ventilator support as needed.
• Work closely with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to improve resident outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR/EHR systems.
• Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies and changes in condition.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory care plans.
