Job summary

Universal Health Services in Texas seeks a licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner to perform routine and intensive therapy and diagnostic procedures. You will maintain ventilators and life-support equipment, conduct routine patient assessments, ABG sampling, and assist with intubation as needed.

Requirements include Texas RRT license, current BLS, ACLS, with PALS/NRP within six months of hire; at least one year of clinical experience in respiratory care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed by the State of Texas to perform Respiratory Care and hold a temporary permit until permanent license.
• At least one year of clinical experience in all modes of respiratory care (credit for coursework).
• Must maintain current BLS/ACLS; PALS and NRP within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and intensive respiratory therapy and diagnostic procedures.
• Maintains respiratory equipment and ensures ventilator and life support operability.
• Provides routine respiratory patient assessments; assists with intubation and ABG procedures.
