Job summary

Requirements include NBRC certification, Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license, BLS/CPR certification, ACLS/PALS/NRP within six months, and a minimum of 3 years in an acute hospital setting.

Qualifications

• NBRC certification, Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner license, and BLS/CPR certification; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within six months of hire.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Knowledge of adult and pediatric ventilator applications and invasive/noninvasive therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy as ordered by physicians per established standards.
• Assist physicians in treatment and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
• Make daily assignments among other Practitioners.
