About Corewell Health Taylor Hospital

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed facility recognized as a healthcare leader in the Detroit metro area. Serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers services such as 24-hour emergency care, wound and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, surgical and orthopedic services, inpatient rehabilitation, and advanced radiology including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and more.

Scope of Work

Under minimal supervision, the Registered Respiratory Therapist implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in diagnosing and managing cardiopulmonary and related disorders. Responsibilities include patient and staff education, technical support for respiratory equipment, and assisting with departmental functions.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• State of Michigan Respiratory Therapist License - Required upon hire
• NBRC Respiratory Therapist Certification - Required upon hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or American Red Cross - Required upon hire
