Job Summary and Qualifications

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, performing diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and monitoring patients on mechanical ventilation.

Responsibilities include:

1. Patient assessment and documentation.
2. Conducting diagnostic procedures and administering therapies.
3. Assisting with artificial airway placement.
4. Initiating, monitoring, and maintaining mechanical ventilation.
5. Monitoring therapeutic response and intervening as needed.
6. Transporting ventilator-dependent patients and responding to emergencies.

Qualifications:

1. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
2. RRT / RCP certification.
3. Vocational school graduate.
