About the Role:

The Chronic Venous Insufficiency Clinical Specialist (CVICS) promotes approved company products through procedure coverage, patient selection, ultrasound and venous mapping expertise, procedure follow-up, and protocol adherence in the US. The role includes clinical education, support, and assisting in clinical trial management at selected centers per SOPs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide ongoing clinical support, including patient candidacy, procedure assistance, follow-up, and education.
  2. Serve as the primary resource for troubleshooting, mapping, and patient follow-up related to company products.
  3. Ensure timely medical documentation collection and reporting, resolving issues with appropriate personnel.
  4. Manage inventory according to company and divisional guidelines.
  5. Respond to customer needs by developing solutions in collaboration with sales, research, marketing, and technical support teams.
  6. Build relationships with hospital, lab, and office personnel to facilitate sales.
  7. Educate customers on product usage through presentations and demonstrations.
  8. Identify opportunities to present competitive information to support regional sales.
  9. Assist or act as a Field Mentor for training new personnel.
  10. Evaluate, educate, and ensure proper use of BSC/Varithena products in CVI disease management.
  11. Promote Varithena adoption through education with RVTs.
  12. Travel extensively (30-40%).
  13. Support continuous learning on disease states and protocols.
  14. Maintain CRM records.
  15. Optimize efficiency across large geographic areas.
  16. Comply with BSC’s code of conduct and policies.
  17. Demonstrate BSC’s values in actions and words.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in a health-related field.
  • 3-5 years in healthcare and medical device industry as a clinical specialist or similar role.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
  • Experience assisting physicians with vein procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
  • Knowledge of GMP, ISO 13485, and MDD requirements.
Additional Details:

This position is remote, with an anticipated annual base salary of $70,000 plus variable incentives and benefits. The role involves extensive travel and requires compliance with company policies, including drug testing and COVID-19 vaccination requirements where applicable.
