Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency seeks a full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist to assess patient respiratory needs, develop care plans, and perform a range of treatments in a clinical setting.

You will collaborate with medical teams, manage aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and airway management, while educating patients and families and upholding safety and evidence-based protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Demonstrates strong clinical assessment, technical proficiency, communication skills, and adherence to standards of care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient respiratory needs and develop care plans.
• Perform therapeutic modalities including aerosolized medications and oxygen therapy.
• Assist with airway management and invasive procedures as needed.
• Support intra-hospital transport and ensure safety standards are followed.
• Educate patients and families and collaborate with medical teams using evidence-based protocols.

Key Duties

Conducting thorough patient assessments, managing therapeutic interventions such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation, and providing patient and family education.
