Job summary

LiveWell Homecare Agency, LLC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or CRT to assess patient respiratory needs, develop and implement treatment plans, and deliver high-quality care with state-of-the-art equipment.

You will perform thorough assessments, administer therapies, manage ventilators, and educate patients and families on disease management. The role includes evenings, every other weekend, and holiday shifts, with comprehensive benefits and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Specialty Training Program (required).
• Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP (provided and required).
• Ability to operate advanced respiratory equipment and work in a clinical environment.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments and establish care plans.
• Administer therapies such as aerosolized medications, oxygen, and secretion management.
• Manage mechanical ventilators and monitor patient status with non-invasive tools.
• Provide patient and family education on disease management.
• Assist in airway management, intra-hospital transport, and emergency responses.
• Support procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive line placement.
• Collaborate with medical teams, adhere to safety standards, and maintain patient confidentiality.
• Serve as a shift coordinator and preceptor for students and new staff.
