Job description

Role Overview: Responsible for assessing, planning, performing, and evaluating respiratory care treatments for patients of all ages. Performs thorough patient assessments, develops care plans, and communicates with the healthcare team. Executes routine therapies such as aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, secretion management, and assists with artificial airway care. Manages mechanical ventilation, including initiating and adjusting ventilators per protocol. Provides patient and family education on disease management, assists with intra-hospital transport, and handles acute airway emergencies. Collects blood gases, supports invasive procedures like bronchoscopy and invasive line placement, and ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
