Job summary

BayCare Health System in Winter Haven, FL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to support pulmonary care services in an outpatient clinic setting. You will perform respiratory testing, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires a trade/technical school degree in Respiratory Therapy, at least 2 years of experience, and an RRT license. Flexible PRN scheduling and onsite work provide a patient-focused environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Trade or Technical School degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients with respiratory conditions and concerns.
• Performing respiratory diagnostic testing and related procedures.
• Collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care plans.
• Explaining testing procedures and results expectations to patients.
• Maintaining respiratory testing equipment and ensuring proper functionality.
• Cleaning and sterilizing equipment according to established guidelines.
• Supporting efficient clinic workflow and patient experience.
• Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education
