Job summary

BayCare Health System is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for our Winter Haven Hospital. This full-time position requires delivering quality Respiratory Care Services and includes responsibilities like performing diagnostic testing and emergency care. The ideal candidate should hold necessary certifications and possess clinical skills, especially in NICU and Pediatric care.

Your role will encompass significant patient interaction under physician guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and professional excellence at one of the region's largest employers. A competitive total rewards package is offered.

Qualifications

• 6 months of Respiratory experience is required.
• RRT, Active NBRC Credential for RRT, and CPR certification necessary.
• Advanced certifications (NRP, ACLS, PALS) should be obtained within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under physician order and protocols.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Conducts diagnostic testing and provides emergency care/adult critical care.

Responsibilities Include

• Delivers Respiratory Care Services under the order of the physician and in accordance with protocols established by the hospital, other health care providers, or the board and functions in situations of unsupervised patient contact requiring individual judgment.
• Performs noninvasive and invasive procedures with minimal oversight.
• Perform diagnostic testing; and Emergency care/Adult critical care

Certifications and Licensures

• RRT (Respiratory Therapy License)
• Active NBRC Credential for RRT
• CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
