Job summary

Regency Hospital - Upstate in Anderson, SC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) on a PRN/Per Diem basis to support patient care in a critical illness recovery setting.

The position offers $42.00 per hour with a $2,500 sign-on bonus and opportunities for advancement within a large healthcare network. A comprehensive orientation and benefits are provided; part-time/per diem schedules are available with potential pathways to full-time roles.

Qualifications

• Must possess an NBRC CRT or RRT credential (or state equivalent).
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma or high school diploma/GED.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS required upon hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients and families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
