Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for per diem coverage in Florence, SC. The role supports critical care patients with respiratory therapies and treatment plans, on a PRN/as-needed basis.

The position requires NBRC NBRC credentials, BLS, ACLS on hire, and active state licensure. An orientation program and opportunities for advancement accompany the role, with eligibility for 401k after hours targets and partial benefits.

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• BLS certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS required upon hire (agency RT must have ACLS on first shift).

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients and recommending an appropriate treatment plan.
• Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical and surgical conditions.
• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position: Respiratory Therapist (RT) - Per Diem/ PRN

Location: Florence, SC

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed - 7 a.m. - 7:30 p.m.Compensation: $39.00 per hour

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
