Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) for per diem shifts. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, and deliver respiratory care for patients with critical and complex conditions.

This role requires NBRC credential (CRT or RRT), current state licensure, BLS, and ACLS. Per diem schedule is 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and compensation is $39.00 per hour, with orientation and potential opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• ACLS required upon hire for agency RT on first shift.

• Performing insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Teaching and counseling patients/families.

Location: Florence, SC

Schedule: PRN/Per Diem/As Needed - 7 p.m. - 7:30 a.m.

Compensation: $39.00 per hour

Minimum Requirements

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.


• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.


• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.


• Current state licensure is required.


• ACLS is required upon hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift)

Preferred Qualifications

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
