Job summary

Regency Hospital - Florence in Florence, SC is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our inpatient post-ICU care team. This full-time weekend days position runs Friday to Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with a $30.47–$41.00 per hour pay range and a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

You will evaluate patients, provide respiratory care for critical and complex cases, and participate in quality improvement. NBRC credential, state licensure, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months are required; ACLS upon hire for

Qualifications

• Active CRT or RRT credential from NBRC or state equivalent.
• Current state licensure required.
• BLS certification required by start date.
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.
• Preferred: 1 year related experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend an appropriate treatment plan.
• Provide respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical/surgical conditions.
• Perform insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Teach and counsel patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Must possess "Active" CRT or RRT credential from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) or state equivalent.
• Proof of graduation required: college transcript/diploma (preferred) or high school transcript/diploma or GED.
• Possess a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date.
• Current state licensure is required.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire. (Agency RT must have ACLS upon first shift, PRN staff must have ACLS upon hire).

Preferred qualifications:

• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
