Job summary

Lionstone Care in Lima, Ohio is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to assess, treat, and care for patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders in a healthcare, long-term care, or acute care setting.

You will administer oxygen therapy, manage ventilators, perform diagnostic tests, educate patients and families, document in the EHR, and collaborate with physicians and nurses. Requires Associate's or Bachelor's in Respiratory Therapy and active RT license with CRT or RRT; new grads welcome.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Respiratory Therapist license with CRT or RRT certification.
• New graduates welcome; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with respiratory and cardiopulmonary disorders.
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage ventilators.
• Record assessments and progress in the EHR system.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care.
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and coordinate with the medical team.
• Perform diagnostic tests such as ABG and PFT as directed.
