Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• No experience required.
• Respiratory Therapist certification (CRT) within 45 days, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ACCS, NRP, and NPS certifications as applicable within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care per standards and policies.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care areas; assist physicians.
• Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper functionality of equipment.
• Educate patients on purpose, technique, self-care, and goals of therapy.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient care.
• Adhere to safety policies; report safety events promptly.
• Adapt duties to service areas under supervision; perform related tasks as required.
• Assess patients age-specifically and contribute to care planning.
