Job summary

Accendra Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide on-site care with travel between Mountville and York. You will perform home visits for oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups, educate patients and caregivers, and ensure accurate documentation.

Key highlights:
Work Arrangement: On-site with significant travel
Coverage Area: Mountville & York
Hours: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Salary range $30 - $35 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors including experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
OnCall transparency Alternate weekday on-call and one weekend per month.

What you’ll do

• Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups
• Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
• Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and upscale concerns appropriately
• Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
• Collaborating with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
• Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
• Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
• Inspects and tests equipment to ensure proper operating condition
• Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry and gathering vital signs
• Performs other duties as required

What we look for

• Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active PA RT license
• Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 - 50 lbs.
• Valid driver's license
• Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
• Education Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
• Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations
• Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy
• Hold a current CPR Certification
• Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
