Qualifikationen

• Associate of Arts or Science required (degree in respiratory care or related field).
• Graduate of a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program; active PA license.
• 1+ years of clinical respiratory care experience preferred; ACLS recommended/required within 6 months.

Aufgaben

• Perform physical assessment of pulmonary status and recommend respiratory care.
• Administer oxygen using standard devices and high-flow/heated systems.
• Manage ventilators and non-invasive BiPAP/CPAP devices as needed.
• Administer inhaled medications and nitric oxide when prescribed.
• Perform ABG testing and other diagnostic assessments to evaluate treatment.
• Respond to hospital emergencies and participate in rapid response activities.
• Document care activities and ensure proper charging in the EHR.
