Job summary

Cherry Hill Free Clinic, Inc. is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II to provide advanced respiratory care in critical care settings.

You will perform ventilator and airway management, arterial blood gas sampling, and collaborate with the care team to develop and implement care plans. You will educate patients and staff, participate in invasive and non-invasive procedures, support quality improvement, ensure documentation accuracy, and mentor new employees and students in a positive, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC-RRT certification and licenses including BLS, ACLS, and RCP.
• 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care preferred.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building and computer proficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering quality patient care through procedures such as ventilator management, airway management, and arterial blood gas sampling. Collaborates with healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans, educates patients and staff, and supports quality improvement initiatives. Ensures a safe environment by promoting accurate documentation, medication safety, and evidence-based practices. Participates in invasive and non-invasive procedures, pulmonary diagnostics, and patient education tailored to population-specific needs. Mentors new employees and students, fostering a team-oriented, positive work environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy, NBRC-RRT certification, and valid licenses including BLS, ACLS, and RCP. Minimal clinical experience of 0-2 years with at least 6 months in critical care is preferred. Strong communication, critical thinking, relationship-building skills, and computer proficiency are essential.
