Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist per NBRC standards.
• Current state license to practice Respiratory Therapy.
• An Associate degree in applied science or equivalent.
• ACLS certification required or to be obtained post‑hire.

Responsibilities

• Administers safe and effective respiratory treatments to restore cardio-pulmonary function.
• Maintains equipment and ensures decontamination, disinfection and sterility of supplies.
• Mentors students from clinical affiliates and collaborates with the health care team.
• Documents effects and outcomes of therapy to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs diagnostic tests to assess cardiopulmonary function and supports ventilator care as needed.

Registered Respiratory Therapist NBRC credential

State license to practice Respiratory Therapy
