You will assess patients, administer respiratory treatments, and ensure therapy aligns with physician orders while maintaining patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities include mentoring students, performing diagnostic tests, and staying current with safety and infection control protocols to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Respiratory Therapist per NBRC credential.
• State license required where work is performed.
• ACLS certification post-hire if not already certified.

• Administers respiratory treatments and gas therapy per standards of practice.
• Maintains and sterilizes equipment.
• Maintains a clean, safe work environment.
• Follows local, state, and federal regulations.
• Completes required safety and infection control programs.
• Documents and communicates effects of therapy for continuity of care.
• Mentors students from clinical affiliates.
• Assesses cardiopulmonary status and implements a Respiratory Care Plan.
• Initiates and maintains BLS.
• Performs bedside spirometry when needed.
