St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Kentucky is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide cardio-pulmonary therapies and diagnostic testing per physician orders, to restore and maintain normal function.

You will mentor students, ensure safe equipment operation, and collaborate with the Sleep Disorders Team to deliver compassionate care to diverse patient populations across our health system.

Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (NBRC) and state licensure are required.
• ACLS certification should be obtained post-hire if not already held.
• Associate degree in applied science or equivalent is required.

Responsabilités

• Administers safe respiratory treatments and gas therapy per current standards.
• Maintains equipment and supplies; ensures decontamination and sterile technique.
• Documents effects of therapy to ensure continuity of care.
• Mentors students from clinical affiliates.
• Performs diagnostic tests to assess cardio-pulmonary function.
• Provides mechanical ventilator support as ordered.
• Initiates and maintains CPR (BLS).
