Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist per NBRC and licensed to practice in the state.
• Associate degree in applied science or equivalent.
• ACLS certification required post-hire to maintain credentials.

Responsibilities

• Administers safe respiratory treatments and gas therapy per current standards.
• Maintains equipment and ensures decontamination and sterility of supplies.
• Documents therapy effects for continuity of care with the healthcare team.
• Mentors students from clinical affiliates and supports team learning.
• Assess cardiopulmonary status and implement a Respiratory Care Plan as age-appropriate.
